and The Grocery Cart Poet,
all of whom
reside happily
in one slightly
over-crowded mind.
A collection of poems from various periods of my life,
from the prehistoric days of teenagerdom and Perry High School,
when hormones first started raging and insanity began to peek in my windows
and assess the accomodations,
to the (mostly) more mellow days of encroaching middle age,
raising teenagers, and finding my place in the body of Christ.
As you browse these pages, don't worry about me. I used to be a bit looneytoons......
BUT I'M FEELING MUCH BETTER NOW!
My attempt to answer the question:
"Just how many poems can one person write about food ?"
Oh, about this many.
Joy and tears at the same time,
with runny noses and lots of kisses.
Calling it like I see it,
but not always kindly.
Meditations on my relationship with my Creator and Savior,
plus a bit of "just working things out in my mind."
Keep your hands and feet inside
until the ride comes to a complete stop.
Sometimes depressing, sometimes happy,
usually hokey.
Random bits of fluff and detritus
that fell out of my brain and got all over the computer screen.
